Trend Alert: Candy Colours

Lipsy Lace Shoulder Dress

Feminine candy Colours are the latest trend for the upcoming Spring and summer lines. Personally I love it 1 Its flirty feminine and fun. I think I will need to jazz it up with accessories I don't like to look too girly. Need to be careful not to look like you have borrowed your outfit from your younger sister.

below are some of my favourite picks. unfortunately my wedding is in 9 weeks and i have no money to go shopping. I have to buy a red dress for my hen night and that is all I can stretch to. I think I will have a good rummage around my wardrobe see if I can recycle something for this trend. Hopefully get a blog post up on that over the weekend. Good excuse to finally clean out my drawers.

This[F21]Contrast Button Blazer is great for adding to any outfit to ensure it is on trend. Great Spring look for your work wardrobe.

Proactiv now available at Boots are now stocking Proactiv ! have you heard of it ? bet you have.

It is supposed to be amazing but I have never bothered to buy it because it has only ever been available from these TV shopping channels. I will definitely be giving it a go now. I have my wedding 9 weeks from today and I am hoping this is the miracle cure to my problem skin.

Dry n Shape: Sigma

The Sigma Dry' n Shape:  Anyone else seen or tried this ?

I don't k now about you guys but i HATE washing my make-up brushes. They take forever to dry and they are just never as good as new.
This new contraption from Sigma promises to quickly dry and shape your makeup brushes in three easy steps and in less than 6 hours.

STEP 1: Wash your brushes using a mild shampoo or brush cleanser.

STEP 2: Gently press the bristles to remove any excess water. Place the clean, damp brushes into the Dry’n Shape using the smallest band the brush will fit into. Make sure that all bristles are firmly compressed.

STEP 3: Wait 4 to 6 hours and your brushes will be completely dry and ready to use! In addition to being completely dry, the bristles will be reshaped to their original form.  Your brushes will be perfect for your makeup application!

Boots 17 Cosmetics

I have been thinking about changing my foundation for the Bare minerals but my budget has been tight this month so i decided just to buy a cheap powder to get me through the month. I popped into my local Boots on my lunch break and was attracted to the cheap prices and current 3 for 2 promotion on the 17 cosmetics. Well if its 3 for 2 i may as well get a new mascara too ( My Last YSL Mascara was a disaster i will do a review on this asap, please do not waste your money on it) .

I decided to go for

It cost me about £11 for all three products with the 3 for 2 promotion and as an added bonus i had enough advantage points to cover it. BARGAIN !!

The foundation and powder are amazing. I am so glad I tried these. I have always been nervous about buying new foundation, often been sucked in by sales girls telling me to buy £40+ numbers that have never went on as well as this foundation.

It goes on like a dream I use a Sigma Kabuki Brush  to whiz mines on in about 2 minutes. It blend so well and i only need a tiny amount. I put my foundation on at around 6.30am and it has been lasting flawlessly until i get home at around 7pm. Even when i was sweating a bit on Saturday i added another quick layer of powder at around 3pm and my face looked as good as new. I dare say the condition of my skin is better, less oily. My fiancĂ©e and work colleagues both noticed instantly asked if I had changed my foundation.

I can not urge you enough to please try this foundation it is awesome.

The mascara isn't brilliant i would give that a miss. Makes my eyelashes look like they are about to snap off.
